The second annual Divas Half Marathon & 5K Race will be held in North Myrtle Beach April 26-28. As of March 12, 5,100 runners have registered to participate in the event.
The 2013 event will be capped at 5,500 runners, and event officials expect to reach that cap within two weeks.
4,419 female runners from 48 states and 28 countries participated in the 2012 Divas Half Marathon & 5K Race. The event generated $4.3 million in direct spending for the North Myrtle Beach economy.
