Two men broke into a home on Boyd Evans Road in the Pageland community of Chesterfield County Tuesday evening. Investigators say they kidnapped, robbed, and beat the homeowner.
Deputies released a picture of one of the suspects at a bank ATM using the victim's debit card.
Authorities have yet to identify the men.
Lieutenant Wayne Jordan says they kidnapped the homeowner at gunpoint and forced him into his 2001 Ford Explorer with SC tag DKF 286.
He was severely beaten causing major injures to his head and face, according to Jordan.
He says the men took him to First Citizens Bank in Pageland where they made the homeowner withdraw $200.
They got back in the car, Jordan says, and dumped him off on Highway 74 in Monroe across from the Union County Sheriff's Office.
He was able to get help from deputies who called EMS to take him to the hospital.
The homeowner is still at a Charlotte hospital.
