Car fire leads to house fire in Florence

FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) - Just after 10:30 Sunday morning West Florence Fire Rescue responded to a car fire on Schofield Street in Florence.

When firefighters arrived on scene the car was covered with flames and had also caught a house on fire, according to Capt. Anthony B. Fox.

Firefighters put both fires out. No one was injured and one family was displaced, Fox added.
