The winner of "American Idol" season 11, singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips, will perform the first concert in Coastal Carolina University's HTC Center on Wednesday, April 3.
Advance tickets for the general public go on sale March 4 at 10 a.m. For CCU students, faculty and staff, tickets go on sale at noon Feb. 22.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Phillips, 22, is from Leesburg, Ga.
His first single, "Home," released after his 2012 win, sold more than any other American Idol coronation song.
He released his debut album, "The World from the Side of the Moon," on Nov. 19, 2012, and it has since gone gold.
He will be coming off a tour serving as the opening act for Matchbox Twenty and transitioning into a headliner for a string of college dates in the spring, with special guests Churchill.
