COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Columbia police say they’ve arrested a man who robbed a downtown bank Wednesday afternoon.
60-year-old Lawrence Jordan is charged with armed robbery and entering a bank with intent to steal.
Officers say Jordan robbed the Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union on Washington Street.
According to investigators, a Crimestoppers tip lead them to River Drive Thursday afternoon where officers saw Jordan walking down the road. They say after a brief foot chase, they arrested Jordan.
