A car crashed into a utility pole on Kershaw Street in Timmonsville causing power outages, according to Florence County 911 dispatchers.

Progress Energy outage maps, at the height of the outage, showed as many as 600 homes without power. That number is now down to less than 100. Power should be restored to everyone by 3 p.m.

Police and firefighters are on scene to help clean up the accident.

We're told there are no injuries.

We will update you on this story at more information becomes available.
