COLUMBIA, S.C. - Officials assigned with the task of keeping South Carolina's children safe online are talking with some grandparents about how they can help.

Patti Fowler works with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

On Tuesday, she is talking about Internet safety with a group of grandparents in Columbia and sharing ways they can avoid trouble spots online.

Attorney General Alan Wilson operates the taskforce and set up the meeting.

He says it's vital for children to know how to keep themselves safe online, and that grandparents should be a part of that process and know ways to spot potential dangers.
