MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - The Myrtle Beach stamp club is holding a weekend gathering which includes a commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg.

Club president Donn Ebert says the event is scheduled to begin Saturday at the Fantasy Harbor north of Myrtle Beach. Ebert says there will be a special display of stamp art as well as stamps from the Confederacy on display.

The exhibit traces the history of the Battle of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania and show some stamps issued on the 100th anniversary of that battle.

A souvenir envelope and cancellation will also be available. Admission is free and open to the public.
