The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to identify three people wanted in connection with a home invasion in Hemingway.
Around 4:30 Sunday morning, Georgetown County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Choppee Road after three people entered the home and demanded money from the two people inside.
The home invaders bound both victims and ransacked the house. One victim got free and escaped through a bedroom window, got to a neighbor's house and called 911.
The home invaders then took off. One victim was taken to the hospital.
Anyone with information about the home invasion or the people who committed the crime should call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843) 546-5101.
