Murrells Inlet is known for great restaurants and Sunday night many of them will come together in one place.

Murells Inlet 2020 has put together the first "Taste of the Inlet." More than 20 restaurants will showcase their specialties.

The event is at the Inlet Square Mall from 6 pm to 9 pm Sunday.

This is also a competition for the restaurants. Guests will be able to sample and vote for their favorite taste choices and booth decorations.

The winning restaurant will be given a trophy.

Each food and dessert item will be priced in the $2-$4 range.

All proceeds go to Murrells Inlet 2020. WPDE NewsChannel 15 is a proud sponsor of this event.
