Darlington County deputies say Weston Privette, 31, of Hartsville pulled over Sunday night at Highway 401 and Interstate 20 for gas.

When he got out of his van he was wearing one shoe and was unsteady on his feet, deputies say.

When people saw him, they called the sheriff's office.

Deputies searched Privette's van and found a small methamphetamine lab that was not active.

Privette also had a small quantity of crystal meth, deputies added.

They charged Privette with DUI, Possession With Intent to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine, and Manufacturing Crystal Methamphetamine.
