The city of Marion will open an emergency heating center at the fire station on Bond Street.

It opens at 3 p.m. Thursday.

City leaders encourage you to come if you have insufficient heating in your home.

You're welcome to bring blankets if you would like.

The center will be manned by a city or recreational employee.
