Myrtle Beach passed another laser ordinance Tuesday, matching the same rules in place as Horry County.

Myrtle Beach now restricts lasers over one milliwatt.

Children can't have them at all and parents will be held responsible.

Merchants will have to provide a warning to customers that lasers used improperly can be confiscated, and customers will have to sign the receipt to prove they received the warning.

If an employee sells a laser to a minor, the businesses license can be suspended or revoked.

Surfside Beach introduced a laser ordinance at a city council meeting Tuesday night.

Their ordinance is exactly the same as Horry County's recently passed ordinance.
