Two men charged with Mail Fraud in mortgage scheme

Scott L. Lemons, 35, of Surfside Beach and Kevin V. Robinson, 39, of Simpsonville were charged in a 3-count Indictment with Mail Fraud in connection with a Myrtle Beach condominium development.

The maximum penalty they could receive is 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was investigated by the FBI and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney T. DeWayne Pearson of the Columbia office for prosecution.
