Classes start this Thursday morning for the little children of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.

For the first time since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, the school's young students will be returning to class.

But they won't be returning to the scene of the shooting.

They'll be attending classes at a refurbished school in the nearby town of Monroe.

Former Sandy Hook Elementary School principal, Donna Page, who retired two years ago is returning to the school.

Parents will be allowed to come into the school and into classrooms with their children.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.
