Larry Devon Greene, 29, of Loris entered a guilty plea in federal court in Florence Monday to a charge of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

He registered in Tennessee, but according to the U.S. Attorney's Office, he failed to notify officials when he left Tennessee and moved to South Carolina.

A judge will sentence Greene after he reviews a pre-sentence report from the U.S. Probation Office.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Greene was convicted of Aggravated Statutory Rape in Tennessee in 2010, he was released from prison in 2011 and signed a form requiring him to register as a sex offender.

The maximum penalty Greene can received is a fine of $250,000, 10 years in prison and a special assessment of $100, according to U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles.
