Anthony Phillips, 21, of Loris is in custody after police say he accidentally shot a 19-year-old.

On Friday, Horry County Police was called to Blue Bird Road in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival police found Travis Price, 19, of Loris with a gunshot wound.

Price was taken to Loris Hospital where he died from one gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.

Witnesses on the scene told police they were drinking and smoking marijuana and handling a .38 caliber revolver.

The gun was loaded with four bullets and Phillips accidentally pulled the trigger and hit Price, according to witnesses.

Phillips has been charged with Involuntary Manslaughter.
