There will be no recount in the House District 56 race because the certified results were outside the one percent margin, the South Carolina State Election Commission said Wednesday.
Horry County certified results Friday giving Dennis DiSabato 4,709 votes. Mike Ryhal had 4,813 votes.
That's a 1.086 percent difference.
Ryhal will represent the district that covers the Carolina Forest area and beyond in Horry County.
