Michael Morgan, 45, was hit and killed while riding his moped Tuesday evening, according to Dillon County Coroner Donnie Grimsley.
A car was attempting to turn, when it struck Morgan on Highway 301 South near Washington Street, said a spokesperson for the Dillon Police Department.
Morgan had the right of way, Dillon police said, but at this point the other driver hasn't been charged.
Morgan was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dillon Police Department.
