The Goose Creek High School football team has been disqualified from the 4A Division II football playoffs after using an ineligible player in last week's playoff game.

That sets up Conway High School to play at Bluffton this Friday in Round 2 of the 4A Division II playoffs.

Goose Creek will appeal the decision by the South Carolina High School League at a meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in Columbia.

Today Conway is busy trying to get game film on their Friday night opponent Bluffton.

Coaches met with the players to reissue their football gear.

Goose Creek defeated Conway last Friday 48-7.
