You can help children in our area stay warm this winter by donating new and gently used coats and blankets through the Coats For Kids drive.

Coast RTA bus service collects coats, jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats, and blankets for families who need them along the Grand Strand.

You can drop things off at Myrtle Beach City Hall, the City Services building, Chapin Memorial Library and the police department.

The boxes will remain at those locations through Friday, November 30.

Locations are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Chapin Memorial Library, which opens at 10 a.m., and closes at 5 p.m., depending on the day.
