Florence County Sheriff's Deputies and Coroner Bubba Matthews are at a Kangaroo gas station on Highway 76, where a Darlington cab driver was found dead in his car.
Matthews says employees at the gas station saw the man drive up around 3:30 Tuesday morning.
After a couple of hours, they noticed he never got out of the car and they became suspicious, according to Matthews.
Employees called 911 and paramedics determined the man was dead.
Matthews says at this point he doesn't believe there was any criminal involvement in the man's death. He's contacting his family to learn if he had an existing medical condition.
