The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help to identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery at the Carrabba's Italian Grill in Murrells Inlet.

Public Information Officer Carrie Cuthbertson says around 9:30 p.m., an employee was leaving the restaurant on Courtfield Drive when a man approached the employee with what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money.

Cuthbertson says the suspect then ran away, but was not able to take any money.

The suspect is described as 6' tall wearing a green sweatshirt and blue jeans.

No one was injured.

If you have any information about the robbery or the suspect, you are asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5102 or send a tip using Text-A-Tip.
