Conway Medical Center unveiled its new Healthreach van on Monday, making it easier to reach out and provide more health care to people who need it.
The van is custom designed to allow the hospital to bring free screenings and education to the medically underserved population of Horry County.
"Usually people come back and its really great to see how the patients, maybe their health has been getting better each screening that they come to," Blakely Roof of Conway Medical Center said.
Also this week, Conway Medical Center is collecting Capri Sun at Food Lion stores in Myrtle Beach and Conway for its "Smart Snacks" program.
The program provides weekend snacks for students in free or reduced lunch programs at school.
You can drop off donations through Sunday.
