WASHINGTON (AP) - Economists are predicting that the unemployment rate rose in October.

Analysts surveyed by the firm FactSet say that when the Labor Department releases its figures later this morning, it'll probably report that the jobless rate rose to 7.9 percent last month, up from 7.8 percent in September.

It'll be the last monthly jobs report before next Tuesday's presidential election.
