A home on Marion Street in Florence went up in flames just after 11 a.m. Thursday.
Neighbors say a woman was in the home that caught fire. She was able to get out, but NewsChannel 15 has learned she's been airlifted to a burn center in Augusta, GA to be treated for her injuries.
The fire quickly spread to the house next door. The say a house across the street also caught fire.
The first home was destroyed. Firefighters managed to save the other two homes.
Firefighters say its likely combustible materials left too close to a heat source started the fire.
Florence police blocked off part of Marion Street as firefighters cleaned up after the fire.
