Two deputies were involved in crashes this week, according to Dillon County Sheriff's Captain Cliff Arnette.

The most recent wreck happened Friday morning when a deputy collided with a car on Highway 301 in Dillon.

The officer wasn't hurt. The driver and passenger in the other car were taken to the hospital, according to Captain Arnette.

He says there was minor damage to the patrol car.

A deputy collided with a car on Highway 57 in Dillon Thursday afternoon.

The deputy escaped the wreck with no injuries, but the other driver was taken to the hospital.

The officer's car was damaged, but Capt. Arnette didn't have an estimate as to how much.

Highway Patrol is investigating both crashes.
