Horry County firefighters were called to a report of flames coming from the windows of a home on Uncle Bud Road near Long Bay Road, which is the Aynor area of Horry County.

The call came in around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The fire started somewhere around the kitchen, but the cause is under investigation, according to Battalion Chief Matt Montgomery.

The home is a total loss because of the extensive smoke damage, Montgomery said.

No one was hurt.
