Surveillance photos released of suspect

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Citgo gas station off Highway 17 bypass in Murrells Inlet. The incident happened around 7:45 Sunday night.

Carrie Cuthbertson says a man "armed with what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the employee." The man then fled on foot. No one was injured.

Cuthbertson adds the bloodhound tracking team was called in to help find the robber.

If you have any information about the robbery you're asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5101.
