A Florence County deputy is being treated in the hospital for injuries he received on a call Saturday.
Capt. Mike Nunn with the sheriff's office says a deputy responded to a fight in progress at a motel on highway 52. The officer was able to detain one suspect, but he was then assaulted by two others.
Nunn says they've made several arrests. Their names have not been released.
There's no word of the officer's condition at this time.
