Georgetown County deputies say a firefighter accidentally shot himself in the leg Friday.
He was handling his own pistol in the parking lot of Midway Fire Rescue Station 82 on Beaumont Lane in Pawleys Island about 4:14 p.m, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies are investigating.
He's expected to be OK.
