One man was shot to death Thursday night at a nightclub on East Lynches River Road outside of Timmonsville in the Cartersville community, early Friday morning, according to Captain Michael Nunn, with the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
Nunn says deputies were dispatched to the scene around 12:37 a.m, where they found Junior Lee Johnson, Jr., 27, lying on the ground outside the bar.
It appears Johnson was shot several times.
Deputies are still in the early stages of the investigation, so they're not releasing much information.
