Horry County police arrested a woman for biting a 5-year-old's thigh.
Police charged Miranda Kennedy, 25, with Unlawful Neglect of a Child.
A Department of Social Services worker was called to Burgess Elementary School Wednesday after the boy told police he was bitten because he didn't learn his numbers.
A police officer met with the boy at the school and found what looked like a human bite mark on his thigh, according to the police report.
Kennedy was arrested that night and put in J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
