Florence County deputies say a man who escaped their arrest on Wednesday killed his uncle on Thursday.
Florence County deputies responded to a possible break-in at a home on Ida Street near Lake City on Wednesday.
Deputies arrested Thadeus Bernard Brayboy, 19, and charged him with Burglary Second Degree.
The other suspect ran away.
Thursday, deputies arrested Lontorrio Ali McKenzie, 19, for Murder in the death of his uncle. He now also faces a Burglary charge.
Both suspects are being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
