More heat and humidity return to the forecast as high pressure slowly pushes off of the coast. Today will be the hottest day of the next 7 with highs in the mid/upper 80s and we'll see mostly sunny skies. A front will drop in and stall out acoss the Carolinas and linger into next week.More cloud cover and the chance for showers/storms will arrive and remain over the weekend and into early next week. You can track any chance for showers on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app!

Nadine STILL remains far out in the Eastern Atlantic and remains no threat to the US. Elsewhere conditions remain quiet You can get the latest thinking on the the tropics on the Hurricane Central page.

Today: Mostly Sunny, more humidity and a little warmer. Highs- Grand Strand: Low/Mid 80s, Inland Mid/Upper 80s.

Tonight: Clear skies. Lows:Low/Mid 60s.

Friday: Mostly to partly sunny, warm and humid. Highs- Low/Mid 80s.
