South Carolina Highway Patrol is reporting a collision at Highway 17 Business and Highway 544 across from Pirateland Campground.
SCHP's website listed the wreck as a collision with entrapment.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue, two lanes of south bound Highway 17 Business will be closed for an extended period of time.
SCHP has created an alternate route on State Highway 1342 and onto Catherine Avenue to avoid the crash.
