A cold front stalled off of the Carolina coast that has kept the clouds around for the past 2 days will finally push away and high pressure will build in today. This will clear out the cloud cover and warm up the area under mostly sunny skies. High pressure breaks over the weekend and a cold front comes in early Sunday with a shot of cooler air behind it. It will pass us mainly dry with only a few more clouds and a stray shower not ruled out.
