An elderly woman died after being trapped inside her home during a fire.
Deputies with the Florence County Sherrif's Office and several fire units responded to a house fire on Eastway Drive around 3 a.m. Saturday.
Deputy Coroner Don Reynolds says the victim is Isabell Wardy. She was a month shy of her 87th birthday.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
Reynolds is having Wardy's body be sent to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston for an autopsy.
Florence County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
