Horry County police, and several other agencies, tracked down a Conway man wanted for murder.
They arrested Donavon Curtis Johnson, 19, Thursday night, with the help of Conway Police and the US Marshal Service.
Horry County police say Johnson is wanted for murder for a deadly shooting on Ronald McNair Blvd. in June.
Johnson is also wanted for attempted murder, burglary, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a firearm by certain persons unlawful and kidnapping for a crime that occurred on Maple Avenue on May 9 in Conway.
About 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Horry County SWAT and Negotiations Teams responded to Creel Street in Conway where they heard Johnson was hanging out. They called people out of the apartment and another man walked out. He was detained as police continued to try to get to Johnson.
After they got no response from the home, the SWAT team went in and found Johnson in a closet. He was arrested without incident.
