Local hardware store featured on nationwide web series closes

A Myrtle Beach hardware store featured in a yahoo.com video series closed its doors for good last month.

The company and its owners, Bill and Donna Clark, were featured on a national web series called "Remake America".

On August 25th, Bill's Hometown Hardware on Highway 17 business called it quits on the Grand Strand.

The series highlighted six American families dealing with the hardships of the recession.

The business announced its last day on their Facebook page saying, "We would like to thank everybody for there prays and support through our tough times. We gave it all we had blood, sweat,tears and money."
