Berkeley County sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the Francis Marion National Forest.
Authorities say the body of 31-year-old Robert Lamar Moultrie of Conway was found inside an SUV off state Highway 41 early Tuesday.
The results of the autopsy on Moultrie indicate that he died from a gunshot wound.
The case is actively being investigated by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office. Moultrie's death has been ruled as a homicide.
