MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE)  - Myrtle Beach police arrested a man attempting to use fake $20 and $50 bills at a Broadway at the Beach restaurant on Saturday.

Police say around 12:49 a.m., Troy Terral Gibson, 20, of Longs attempted to pass off a fake $20 and $50 bill to a waiter who checked the bills with a security pen.

Gibson ran out of the restaurant, threw another $50 bill on the ground and was later detained by security officers, according to the report.

Police say while being searched in jail, more counterfeit money fell out of Gibson's pants.

In all, Gibson had 15 fake $50 bills and 10 fake $20 bills in his possession.
