CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Nearly a year before Charlotte pulled off a successful Democratic National Convention, the city's business leaders gathered to kick around what they city might do next.

A Super Bowl? Maybe a G-20 Summit? Or perhaps what one entrepreneur suggested, the biggest event on Earth - the Olympics.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Morgan says those dreams are all good. But what he wants to do next for Charlotte is to keep the city growing.

Morgan says he wants the Charlotte region to double to 4 million people in the next 20 years. He says the chamber hopes connections made with international businesspeople during the convention will pay dividends.

Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx says the city showed with the convention that its ability to achieve great things is limitless.
