MURRELLS INLET, S.C. (WPDE) - Just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Murrells Inlet/Garden City Fire District responded to a capsized boat in Murrells Inlet.

Capt. Rodney Jewett says when the boaters tried to anchor, waves pushed them into a jetty and the boat capsized.

One person was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment. Capt. Jewett says two other people who were on the boat are fine.

The Department of Natural Resources and U.S. Coast Guard provided assistance.
