Myrtle Beach police are investigating an incident in which a man pulled a gun on three Myrtle Beach Intermediate School students.
Horry County Schools spokeswoman Teal Britton confirmed that the students reported a man pointed a gun at them this morning at 4th Ave. and Cedar St. in Myrtle Beach, one block away from a school bus stop.
Britton says the school bus wasn't there and the incident was reported when the boys got to school. The school then called Myrtle Beach police to investigate.
Police spokesman Capt. David Knipes says the students told police the incident started when they threw rocks at a homeless man. They say the man then broke a window of a nearby vehicle, grabbed a shotgun from inside it and pointed it at them.
Knipes said police couldn't find any broken glass at the scene. He said no shots were fired and no one was hurt.
