Another humid Summer day is expected with even a few showers/storms possible. You can track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! With plenty of tropical moisture around through early Sunday we will continue to hold on to our chances for rain along with the heat and humidity. Highs will remain in the upper 80s along the beaches and lower 90s Inland. A cold front will come through early Sunday to bring a noticeable cool down and lower humidity for next week.

A ditsturbance in the Gulf is showing a medium potential for development. While this is remnant moisture from once Hurricane Isaac, if it were to develop into a named system it would become Nadine. Hurricane Leslie is a slow moving system that will impact Bermuda over the weekend, but will stay far off of the East Coast and pass East Bermuda over the next few days. Our area will see an increased rip current risk and even an increase swells. Other than that we will not see any direct impacts from Leslie. Hurricane Michael, also is out in the Atlantic, rapidly strengthened into our first major hurricane of the season. It is forecast to stay far away from the US and mainly out to sea. You can get the latest thinking on the Isaac on the Hurricane Central page.

Today: Mostly to Partly sunny and humid. Few Isolated showers/storm possible, mainly Inland. Highs- Grand Strand: Upper 80s, Inland: Low 90s.

Tonight: Mostly clear and muggy. Lows: Low/mid 70s.

Saturday: Partly sunny and humid. Few scattered showers/storm possible in the afternoon and evening. Highs- Grand Strand: Upper 80s, Inland: Around 90°.

Sunday: Morning clouds and an isolated shower will give way to more sun, lower humidity, and breezy conditions. Highs: Low/Mid 80s
