Dry air near the coast and a tropical airmass in place Inland will once keep ost locations near the coast dry witha few afternoon and evening storms possible. Best chances for rain and storms will be for areas around and West of I-95. Slow moving storms will produce heavy rain and the potential for localized flooding. You can track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! We will continue to hold on to our afternoon and evening chances for rain along with the heat and humidity through the weekend. Highs will remain in the upper 80s along the beaches and lower 90s Inland. A cold front will come through Sunday to bring some changes for next week. Tropical Storm Leslie is a slow moving system forecast to strengthen, but will stay far off of the East Coast and mainly impact Bermuda over the next few days. Our area will see an increased rip current risk and even a few more swells. Other than that we will not see any direct impacts from Leslie. Tropical storm Michael also is out in the Atlantic, but the forecast track keeps it far away from the US and mainly staying out to sea.
