Joshua Rogers, 18, of Greeleyville, is the 2012 winner of BET's Sunday Best gospel singing competition.

The C.E. Murray High School graduate competed against thousands and is the first man to win the competition in the show's five-year history.

There's excitement all over Greeleyville about Roger's win. Many say they always knew he would be famous for his talent.

The teenager will receive a national recording contract with Music World Gospel, a cash prize, and a 2013 Ford Escape.
