Dillon Police Assistant Chief Bobby McLean says a woman found her husband dead on a dirt road off of First Avenue Monday evening.
McLean says at this point, they're treating the man's death as a homicide, but says that could change after further investigation.
The State Law Enforcement Division is helping to process the scene.
The man's name isn't being released.
Police expect to release more information Tuesday evening.
