*Update: According to Horry County online court records, both charges were dismissed in Myrtle Beach municipal court on September 27, 2012*

Around 4 a.m. Saturday, Myrtle Beach police arrested Michael Worth Calfee, 35, of North Carolina after officers found him nude in the ocean near 29th Ave. North, according to a police report.

Once officers arrived and told Calfee to get out of the water, he found his clothes and got dressed, according to the report.

Police say Calfee had slurred speech, red-glossy eyes and was unsteady on his feet.

In the report, officers said they noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from Worth's body.

Worth was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct (nudity).

The police report states Worth is employed with Homeland Security.

Earlier, NewsChannel 15 reported Calfee was charged with marijuana possession.

Another man from North Carolina, who was also naked in the ocean with Calfee at the time, was arrested by police for having 4 grams of marijuana in his possession.

NewsChannel 15 regrets the error.
